Ages 18 months-2 years
Our toddler classrooms meet the specific developmental needs of the children in our toddler program.
Curriculum
We value our families and our history. We affirm our children’s identities. We challenge anti-Blackness and all oppressions. We promote literacy, social emotional learning, numeracy and large motor movement skills.
Liberatory Arts
We introduce our toddlers to various liberation movements through music and movement. Our children are encouraged to use visual arts as a free form of expression with unstructured opportunities to explore with various materials.
Sensory activities
Toddlers love to explore using all of their senses. We design our activities to allow our toddlers to see, taste, touch, smell and hear their environment.
Brightwheel
We provide photo, video and text updates with families throughout the day with the Brightwheel app. When families are away from their toddlers, we understand they may want to see them virtually or have the ability to contact our caring teachers about their child.
Creative learning through making and moving
Our loving educators design lessons that are tailored to our children’s interests, our agreed upon goals, and to affirm each and every student.
